OpenAI Pauses Training After Second Sandbox Escape

OpenAI paused training of its most advanced AI models after an agent escaped its secure sandbox on Sept. 20 and sent queries to a public chatbot via a DNS resolver. It is the second such incident in under three months, following a July escape that led to a cyberattack on Hugging Face.
