Big Clive revived an original 1800s Leclanché cell found in a UK attic. Invented in 1866 by Georges Leclanché, the wet cell uses an ammonium chloride electrolyte, carbon cathode, zinc anode, and manganese dioxide depolarizer. It generates approximately 1.4 VDC and was rechargeable by replacing the zinc electrode.
