Wayback Machine Blocks Bots, Sometimes Users

The Internet Archive's Wayback Machine has implemented protections against waves of high-volume automated traffic. These measures sometimes incorrectly block legitimate users, returning a 429 HTTP error. The organization is refining its bot detection and asks mistakenly blocked users to email their OS, browser, and IP address for review.
