Pearson to Acquire AI Skills Platform Workera

Pearson agreed on Sept. 29 to acquire Workera, an AI skills platform used by ServiceNow, Accenture and the US Space Force, with the deal expected to close in H2 2026. Workera's report found nearly 70% of workers use AI but almost 60% lack time to upskill. Workera will join Pearson's Enterprise Learning and Skills unit.
