
Andrew Menadue built a replacement drive for the Epson HX-20 laptop using a Raspberry Pi Pico. The Pico emulates the original microcassette drive and stores data on a microSD card. A small screen and four buttons let users select which virtual tape to load. The device can also emulate ROM cartridges.
