Chinese brands grab 34% of Europe PHEV sales

Chinese automakers, including BYD, Chery, and Geely, captured a record 34% of plug-in hybrid vehicle deliveries in Europe in June. Chinese brands also accounted for 11% of all new-car sales and 15% of battery-electric vehicle deliveries. The European Commission is moving closer to imposing tariffs on Chinese plug-in hybrids.
