GitHub Launches HydraFusion for Copilot

GitHub has introduced Project HydraFusion, an advanced research preview for GitHub Copilot. The system uses runtime model orchestration to dynamically route coding tasks across multiple AI models from different providers. It employs three execution patterns: Single, Cascade, and Critique. In offline evaluations, HydraFusion matched or exceeded baseline quality while reducing estimated costs by up to 67% on specific benchmarks.
