Google Releases Gemma 4 12B and AI Edge Eloquent for Mac

Google has launched AI Edge Gallery on Mac, enabling users to run Gemma 4 12B LLMs locally. The Gemma 4 12B model supports agentic multimodal intelligence and requires at least 16GB VRAM or unified memory. AI Edge Eloquent, a dictation tool, runs on-device and works across all Mac apps with a keyboard shortcut. The tool allows users to select writing styles and add custom words, available initially only in English.
