Electra will invest $850 million to build a factory in Springfield, Ohio, for its EL9 Ultra Short hybrid-electric aircraft. The nine-passenger plane can take off in 150 feet using blown-lift technology. The plant aims to produce up to 800 aircraft annually and create nearly 2,000 jobs.
