Microsoft shuts 70+ repos after malware targets AI agents

Microsoft removed over 70 of its own GitHub repositories after hackers pushed malware that steals credentials from users of AI coding agents. The attack targeted developers relying on AI-assisted tools. The repositories were taken down to prevent further credential theft.
