Benchmarking RocksDB on an Apple M4 Pro measured space amplification at 1.58x after deleting half of 1 million keys, and write amplification at 4.56x for random keys versus 1.03x for sequential keys. The level0_file_num_compaction_trigger only matters when compaction keeps up with writes.
