Apple plans to launch an M6 MacBook Pro as soon as this year, using a 2-nanometer chip for the first time. The M6 will be a standalone chip with a 12-core GPU, higher memory bandwidth at 200GB/s, and an upgraded Neural Engine. Higher-end M6 Pro and Max chips are delayed until the M7 series in 2027.
