Cardboard headlights pass Japan's strict car inspection

A US Air Force member in Japan passed the country's strict JCI test by mounting his Jeep Wrangler's headlights on cardboard boxes taped to the fenders. Inspectors had flagged the headlights as 3 cm too far from the fender edge. The cardboard fix met the letter of the law and earned registration.
