Singapore opened FirstDate this month, a government dating platform pilot for public sector employees aged 21 to 35, using a Nobel Prize-winning matchmaking algorithm. Users get one match at a time and rate dates via survey. It is the latest state effort to lift the city-state's fast-declining fertility rate, and stems from a government hackathon.
