Verda Raises $189M for AI Cloud

Helsinki-based Verda raised $189 million in an oversubscribed Series B led by Emergence Capital, bringing total funding past $450 million and valuing the AI cloud provider at over $1 billion. Verda, founded in 2020, reached a $165 million annualised revenue run rate in July and will use the funds to multiply compute capacity and expand across Europe, the US and Asia.
