Austrian Startup Tumbleweed Raises €6.9M

Austrian startup Tumbleweed raised €6.9 million in a seed round led by PactVC to fund three further launches in 2027. The company successfully launched Austria's first commercial satellite on a SpaceX Falcon 9 after being rejected twice. Over a third of the 25 employees invested their own money. Missions start at €15,000 and are due to return samples in 2028.
