India's women's cricket team won a record-extending eighth Asia Cup title, defeating Sri Lanka by 72 runs in Dubai. The team did not accept the trophy from Asian Cricket Council chairman Mohsin Naqvi of Pakistan, following the same protocol as the men's team last year. The trophy remains in the ACC office.
