Cloudflare released its 26th DDoS Threat Report for Q3 2026, covering July through September. Short-burst attacks surged 208% while hyper-volumetric attacks dropped 69%. The US reclaimed the top attack location spot from China. Over 8,200 attacks occurred every hour globally during the quarter.
