CXMT Claims DRAM Parity With Samsung, Micron

ChangXin Memory Technologies said its fifth-generation DRAM platform entered mass production, claiming process parity with Samsung, SK Hynix and Micron. The 11.95nm half-pitch platform yields at least 50% more dies per wafer than its fourth generation. Two 24-gigabit LPDDR5X products already run on it, pitched as a supply alternative to the three non-Chinese suppliers.
