Bristol-based startup Ponda raised $2.4m (£1.8m) in seed funding to grow BioPuff, a plant-based regenerative insulation. The company makes biomaterials from wetland fibres by rewetting degraded peatlands and planting typha. Drained peatlands release two gigatonnes of emissions annually.
