Google Open-Sources AX Agent Orchestrator

Google released AX, an Apache 2.0 open-source orchestrator for autonomous AI agents, hosted on GitHub as google/ax. It runs on Agent Substrate, treating agents as stateful actors with sub-second suspension and resumption. Four declarative primitives (Task, Workspace, Gateway, Model) manage execution, environments, network policy and LLM settings. The project targets enterprises running large-scale, long-running agent fleets.
