NHTSA Probes comma.ai openpilot After 5 Crashes

NHTSA opened Preliminary Evaluation PE26007 on September 21 into comma.ai's openpilot after five crashes where cars hit stopped or slow vehicles in their own lane, killing three people and injuring 11. The probe covers about 30,000 comma three, 3X and four devices. NHTSA may escalate to a recall.
