xMEMS introduced the XMC-1200, a 46mm micro fan it calls the world's smallest active micro fan. The fan delivers 10 degrees Celsius of cooling at a 1W thermal load while consuming 70mW of power. xMEMS says the fan can extend recording times on camera-centric smart glasses like Meta's Ray-Ban, which currently record for a maximum of three minutes. Production readiness is targeted for the end of 2027.
