Google Play opens to alternative billing next week

Google will allow Android developers to use external billing alongside Play Store distribution starting June 30 in the US, UK, and European Economic Area. The service fee drops to 10% on the first $1 million in annual earnings regardless of billing method, down from the previous 30% standard.
