Apple enabled alternative app marketplaces in Brazil, allowing users to install AltStore PAL on iPhones running iOS 26.5 or later. The change follows a settlement with CADE, Brazil's competition watchdog. Brazil joins Japan and the European Union in permitting alternative iOS marketplaces.
