NASA scientists discovered a new exoplanet, Beta Pictoris d, orbiting the star Beta Pictoris 63 light years away. The planet is about two times Jupiter's mass and is the third exoplanet imaged in that system. It was found using the James Webb Space Telescope's Near-Infrared Spectrograph.
