IBM teases rackable z17 mainframes

IBM announced rack-mounted and single-frame versions of its z17 mainframes, the z17 ME2 and IBM z17 MER, completing the z17 family. The z17 ME2 processes up to 2.5 million inference operations per second with 1 ms response time for fraud detection. Orders open August 12.
