Flashing OpenWrt onto a TP-Link Archer C6 removed ISP and stock firmware restrictions, enabling VPN client use and eliminating triple NAT. The open-source firmware's opkg package manager allowed installing WireGuard, banIP, SQM, and nlbwmon, proving the ISP wasn't blocking VPNs.
