DOJ probes Nvidia Hugging Face acquisition

The US Justice Department investigates Nvidia's $12.9B purchase of Hugging Face, asking if the deal would let the chipmaker capture a fundamental distribution point for AI models. The deal, agreed to in September, is expected to close in the first half of 2027.
