Android Auto Taskbar Location Setting Explained

A recent Android Auto update removed the Quick Controls toggle that moved the taskbar to the bottom of the screen. Users can now adjust media control placement via Settings > Change Layout > Media Closer to Driver, moving controls to the left or right side of the display.
