Anthropic, OpenAI Launch New Models in Price War

Anthropic released Claude Opus 5.5, and about an hour later OpenAI released GPT-6 Sol and GPT-6 Luna. GPT-6 Luna costs $0.10/$0.50 per million tokens, half the price of GPT-5.6 Luna. Opus 5.5 dropped 20% to $4/$20, with cache reads down 60%. Anthropic says Sonnet 5.5 and Haiku 5.5 are coming soon.
