Dragon's Dogma 2 producer Naoto Oyama and director Kenta Kinoshita stated the series continues without Hideaki Itsuno, who left Capcom in 2024. Kinoshita worked on all four Dragon's Dogma titles. Dragon's Dogma 2: Dark Arisen launches October 9th alongside a Nintendo Switch 2 version.
