CATL plans to build about 36 battery swap stations in Hong Kong by the end of 2030, covering core hubs across all districts. Two Choco swap stations are now operational, serving high-frequency commercial vehicles like taxis and logistics vehicles. The swap taxi uses a right-hand-drive Hongqi E-QM5 and completes a swap within 99 seconds.
