Volvo adds deer alerts to electric cars

Volvo's software update adds four hazard alerts to the EX60, EX90 and ES90 electric cars, covering large animals, pedestrians, cyclists, roadworks and accidents ahead. In Europe, the feature uses Data for Road Safety, pooling reports from BMW, Ford, Mercedes-Benz, Volvo, HERE, TomTom, NIRA Dynamics and eight national road authorities.
