Fake Google Notes Extension Steals Crypto

McAfee Labs flagged Silent Swap, a crypto clipper campaign using a fake Google Notes Chromium extension. The unsigned.NET installer BaseZipInstaller injects the extension into browsers to replace wallet addresses. The malware uses EtherHiding to retrieve command-and-control server details from the blockchain, making address swaps irreversible.
