A developer ported Linux to the Sega 32X add-on using an FPGA-based flash cart from Krikkz. The cart provides 4 MB of RAM by mapping ROM as writable memory. The loader copies the Linux binary from 540 KB of ROM into RAM, then boots it on the dual SH2 processors.
