Banks Win Class Action Over Apple Pay Fees

A federal judge certified a class action on September 23 allowing thousands of US banks and credit unions to sue Apple together over Apple Pay fees. The issuers pay 0.15% on credit purchases and half a cent per debit transaction, and claim Apple blocked rival tap-to-pay wallets to sustain those charges. Apple's liability is not yet decided.
