Aperture-tuning antenna keeps 5G signals strong across wider frequencies

Researchers at Science Tokyo built a compact aperture-adjustable antenna that maintains strong 5G millimeter-wave performance across wider frequency bands without extra power. The system improved signal strength by up to 62.2% at 57 GHz and 47.9% at 71 GHz, achieving data speeds of 56 Gb/s for future Beyond 5G and 6G applications.
