Nadella warns enterprises pay hidden AI cost

Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella warned that enterprises using proprietary AI models pay twice: once for token usage and again by handing over proprietary knowledge through prompts and corrections. He urged companies to retain ownership of their data, build proprietary learning environments on the cloud, and use orchestration layers to switch between models. Open source models now account for 29% of traffic through Vercel's gateway.
