Nvidia's Vera CPU is its side door back into China

Nvidia is pitching its Vera CPU to Chinese customers as a workaround to US export controls that collapsed its GPU business there. Orders can begin now with deliveries as soon as August. The Arm-based chip runs up to 1.8 times faster than rivals and costs well north of $20,000.
