The UK secured billions in AI commitments on day one of London Tech Week, including £400mn from the government for AI chips and compute capacity. AMD pledged up to £2bn over five years, Nebius committed £1.7bn for Nvidia infrastructure, and London mayor Sadiq Khan added £12mn for small business AI adoption.
