McKinsey 2025 survey: 88% of firms use AI, 39% see profit impact

88 percent of organizations use AI in at least one function, up from 78 percent the prior year, but only 39 percent report measurable profit impact. Most remain in pilot mode, with just 7 percent having scaled AI enterprise-wide. Only 39 percent attribute any enterprise-level EBIT impact to AI, with most citing less than 5 percent improvement.
