Microsoft Copilot adoption lags behind expectations

Microsoft Copilot 365 has over 20 million paid seats, but that is fewer than 4.5% of the 450 million paid Microsoft 365 commercial customers. Weekly usage among licensed seats is only 20% to 30%, leaving roughly 1% of the broader customer base as active users. Microsoft has added options to hide the Copilot button and uninstall the Windows app.
