DigiCert Proposes AI Agent Passport Framework

DigiCert has introduced an AI Trust framework to govern autonomous AI agents in enterprises. The system proposes giving each agent a cryptographic 'passport' with an expiry date and a named human owner. It leverages public key infrastructure, DNS, and attestation to verify agent identity and enforce policy, aiming to solve the growing problem of ungoverned 'shadow AI' in corporate infrastructure.
