NASA may send nuclear-powered Mars rover to Moon

NASA is considering sending the Perseverance rover's full-scale engineering model, nicknamed "Promise," to the Moon. The car-sized rover would use a multi-mission radioisotope thermoelectric generator to power through the lunar night and explore the south pole region.
