The EU will bar Belarusian nationals and residents from owning, controlling or managing any MiCA-regulated crypto service providers starting Aug. 25. The expanded restriction, adopted Thursday in Council Decision (CFSP) 2026/1847, now covers all crypto-asset services under MiCA, including trading platforms and exchanges.
