Google Cloud Enhances Session Management Controls

Google Cloud has completed a global rollout of a 16-hour default session length for all customers to mitigate credential theft and account takeover risks. The company has evolved session controls into a granular feature of Context-Aware Access, allowing administrators to set policies programmatically via Terraform, gcloud CLI, and REST APIs. Policies can now target specific Google Groups and applications.
