Tencent Prepares Consumer AI Search Engine

Tencent reportedly prepares to launch an AI search engine for consumers that combines AI-generated answers with web search, Huxiu reported on November 3. The product will feature a minimal interface and prioritize authoritative sources. A Tencent insider told Huxiu that the planned search engine shares its underlying capabilities with search inside the Yuanbao app and Tencent Cloud's Yuanbao Search API.
