US warned Anthropic over Fable 5 jailbreak, company refused fix

The US government warned Anthropic that a Chinese group had jailbroken Claude Fable 5, but CEO Dario Amodei refused to fix the flaw or pull the model, according to David Sacks. The administration then ordered both Fable 5 and Mythos 5 disabled worldwide. Sacks said the export control will lift once the jailbreak is patched.
