SkillCloak Evades AI Agent Scanners with Packing Trick

Researchers at Hong Kong University of Science and Technology built SkillCloak, a tool that rewrites malicious AI agent skills to evade static scanners. The self-extracting packing trick bypassed eight scanners over 90% of the time. The team also built SkillDetonate, a runtime checker that caught 97% of attacks in controlled tests.
